Lipite Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, still almost untouched. The reason is that there’s no road access by car. It lies in a picturesque bay with crystal-clear waters, not far from Butamyata Beach in Sinemorets. The sand is fine, and at the back, the beach meets the dense forests of Strandzha.

Lipite Beach is part of the “Silistar” protected area – the southernmost on Bulgarian Black Sea coast. It was declared with the aim of preserving the characteristic landscape of the coastal zone, such as rock formations and fjords, as well as preserving specific vegetation and rich animal life. The name of the beach comes from the linden trees that once grew here. Today, only a few trees remain.
The beach, as I mentioned, is charming. It is unguarded and without any establishments or umbrellas. However, be cautious if you choose to swim there – the spot has been dangerous and has claimed lives over the years. Avoid going deep into the water, especially when the sea is rough, even if you’re a strong swimmer.
And one more thing – being part of a protected area, camping is prohibited on Lipite beach.

Where is and how to get to Lipite Beach
Lipite Beach is located about 700 meters south of Butamyata Beach in the vicinity of the village of Sinemorets, Burgas region. It can be reached on foot along a path along the Silistar plateau. The path starts from the rocks at the mouth of the Butamyata River and runs very close to the sea. It takes about half an hour.
Coordinates:
- start of the path: 42.053539, 27.987392;
- the beach: 42.0473101, 27.9907174.

And more
About 2 km south of Lipite Beach is another bay with a sandy strip. This is Listi Beach. It is even wilder and rarely visited. If you are interested in where it is located, share in a comment below and I will dedicate a separate article to it.
